Chancellor of Germany, Olaf Scholz, will pay a visit to the Republic of Moldova
The Chancellor of Germany, Olaf Scholz, will pay a visit to Chisinau this summer. The announcement was made by the official during a press conference in Berlin, together with the president Maia Sandu.
"Madam President, I would like to assure you, the expansion of the European Union serves the strategic interest of the entire Union in Germany and the Republic of Moldova. We are happy to support you on this path. I look forward to further collaboration, and especially to visit the capital Chisinau this summer," said Olaf Scholz. We remind that during May 17-18, the President of the Republic of Moldova, Maia Sandu, is on a working visit to Germany.
On Friday, Maia Sandu had meetings with the President of Germany, Frank-Walter Steinmeier and the President of the Bundestag, Bärbel Bas.
According to the Presidency, Maia Sandu will also meet with the Moldovans in Berlin and Frankfurt am Main.
