18 students awarded at the Republican Ecology Olympiad
18 students from different localities of the Republic of Moldova were awarded at the Republican Ecology Olympiad, held between February 21 and 23, 2025. The competition brought together approximately 90 participants, including teachers and students passionate about environmental protection.

According to the MEC, during the competition, students, under the guidance of teachers and researchers, presented 33 innovative projects aimed at contributing to solving environmental problems. Following the judging process, 10 projects were designated winners, and their authors, students from the districts of Anenii Noi, Bălți, Cahul, Chișinău, Criuleni, Ialoveni, Orhei, Sîngerei and Soroca, were awarded.
Lilia Ivanov, director of the National Agency for Curriculum and Evaluation, congratulated the participants, emphasizing the importance of involving young people in finding ecological solutions.
*"Through the innovative solutions proposed by you, we can save the planet, save a region of our country, save the environment that is in danger near your school or locality, and I am sure that you will continue to research and identify feasible solutions for the environment," Lilia Ivanov said.
