Maia Sandu's working visit to Paris focuses on Moldova’s European path

President Maia Sandu is making a working visit to Paris from March 10 to 11, at the invitation of her French counterpart, Emmanuel Macron.

According to a statement from the Presidency, the visit will include a meeting with President Macron, during which they will discuss bilateral relations, France's support for Moldova's European path, and regional security matters.

Additionally, the head of state is scheduled to meet with representatives from the French National Assembly and Senate, the French Development Agency, and UNESCO. The discussions will focus on cooperation in the economic, educational, and cultural sectors.

During the visit, Maia Sandu will also participate in a Moldovan-French business forum aimed at facilitating collaboration between companies from both countries and promoting investment in the Republic of Moldova.

Furthermore, the president met with members of the Moldovan community in France to discuss projects aimed at the diaspora and ways in which the state can better support Moldovan citizens abroad.
