Heavy traffic reported at Sculeni and Leușeni border checkpoints

Currently, there is heavy traffic of passengers and vehicles at the Sculeni and Leușeni border crossing points, and the exit lane from the Republic of Moldova is congested.

According to the Border Police, border guards are implementing measures to improve cross-border traffic and are operating at full capacity.

Travelers are advised to pre-select their customs posts for crossing: Costești, Leova, or Cahul.
