Moldovan leadership condemns attacks on Ukraine: "We reaffirm our support for the Ukrainian people"

The leadership of the Republic of Moldova condemns the attacks by Russian forces on Ukraine last night and reaffirms its support for the Ukrainian people.

" 367 drones and missiles. At least 12 dead. Dozens injured. This is not the behavior of a country seeking peace — it’s a deliberate escalation and a brutal attack on innocent lives. Moldova stands with Ukraine. The world must respond with massive support for Ukraine," reads the message of Maia Sandu, the President of the Republic of Moldova.

The Parliament Speaker, Igor Grosu, stated that last night was especially difficult for thousands of Ukrainian citizens due to a massive and brutal attack orchestrated by the Kremlin regime.

He expressed his deep compassion and sincere condolences to the families who have lost loved ones, saying, "Such atrocities cannot continue. This is an unjust war, where innocent people are losing their lives every day. The Republic of Moldova reaffirms its unwavering support for the Ukrainian people and fully supports Ukraine in its defense of freedom, peace, and sovereignty."
