Ukrainian civilian helicopter makes emergency landing in Călărași due to engine failure
A civilian KA-27 helicopter registered in Ukraine made an emergency landing today, June 5, in the Călărași district after the crew reported significant engine vibrations during the flight.
The aircraft was flying on the Mărculești to Constanța route when the crew decided to land in accordance with standard safety procedures to mitigate any potential risks.
The crew notified the MoldATSA Air Traffic Service about the emergency situation, prompting the authorities to activate search and rescue services.
According to the Civil Aeronautical Authority, the landing was successfully executed under safe conditions, with no casualties or material damage reported.
As a result, no rescue teams were needed on site.
