Iran rockets hit Israel: 16 injured, US strikes fuel tensions

The Israeli medical service reported 16 injuries after a new morning rocket attack by Iran on Israel, the BBC reports.
Iran's armed forces claim they targeted several locations in Israel, including Ben Gurion Airport, in retaliation for US attacks on key nuclear sites in the Islamic Republic, The Times of Israel reports.
After air raid sirens were activated in central Israel, multiple rocket strikes were recorded in residential areas of Tel Aviv, Nes Tziona, and Haifa. One rocket hit Haifa, without sirens sounding before impact.
A 30-year-old man sustained moderate shrapnel injuries, while 15 other individuals suffered minor injuries.
Emergency services are still working to evacuate residents from a densely populated area in central Israel. The situation is complicated by the fact that a large elderly care facility was damaged in the attack.

"It was a massive explosion. Everything shook. I don't know what happened," a tearful witness said.
According to Israeli media, people are terrified, carrying small bags with essential belongings, as security forces move them from the area, citing concerns about possible falling debris or a building collapse.
It's also worth noting that the United States bombed Iranian nuclear facilities at Fordo, Natanz, and Isfahan from Saturday night into Sunday morning, Donald Trump announced in a White House statement. The US President described the action as a "very successful attack."

The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) states that no increase in radiation levels has been reported following the American strikes on the three nuclear sites in Iran.
Since June 13, Israel has launched a series of airstrikes on Iranian nuclear and military facilities, including in Tehran and Esfahan.
Chisinau's diplomacy issued an appeal, urging citizens to leave the territory of this state. Dozens of Moldovans requested information regarding evacuation options from Israel. Despite the risks, however, some Moldovans are not rushing to leave.
