New Radio Moldova Comrat boosts Moldova's info space

Today, July 1st, Teleradio-Moldova (TRM) is taking a significant step to strengthen Moldova's national information space with the launch of Radio Moldova Comrat – a regional station dedicated to residents of the Gagauz Autonomy (UTA Gagauzia).

Featuring its own lineup of 24 programs, the new channel will broadcast 12 hours of original content daily in Gagauz and Russian, including news, cultural, educational, and entertainment shows. The remaining broadcast hours will feature retransmissions of Radio Moldova programs.

Radio Moldova Comrat can be received on 105.6 FM in Comrat and 104.3 FM in Vulcănești. The station aims to foster dialogue, respect for diversity, and social cohesion.

In the medium to long term, Teleradio-Moldova intends to develop a network of regional stations, following the model of other public media services in the European Union.
