Sheriff players are full of confidence as they approach their Europa League second qualifying round match against FC Utrecht.

Coach Victor Mihailov is urging as many fans as possible to attend the game in Nisporeni.

In the first qualifying round of the Europa League, Sheriff Tiraspol faced no significant problems against FC Prishtina from Kosovo. "The Wasps" secured a decisive 5-2 aggregate victory. Their next opponent, however, is of a completely different caliber. FC Utrecht finished 4th in the latest edition of the Dutch top-flight football league, and according to Transfermarkt, their squad is valued at an impressive €64 million.

"We have no fear of our opponents; we have respect for every team we play. We expect a high-quality, disciplined performance from our players. We also hope we will be supported by a large number of fans in the stands," declared Coach Victor Mihailov.

"This match demonstrates that we are playing at a high level in Europe. We will try to showcase ourselves as a solid team," emphasized forward Cyrille Bayala.

The first leg between Sheriff Tiraspol and FC Utrecht will be played on Thursday, July 24, at 8:00 PM EEST. The match will be officiated by Maltese referee Philip Farrugia.
