First 'Local product' exhibition showcases the country's best goods

Local producers from all regions of the country will present their products at the first edition of the national exhibition "Local product". The event will take place from August 22 to 24, according to the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) of the Republic of Moldova.
The exhibition will showcase regionally themed stands, dedicated spaces for small and medium-sized enterprises, fairs featuring traditional and artisanal products, and a large cultural and gastronomic festival celebrating the regions of the Republic of Moldova.
Visitors will have the opportunity to discover and interact with local producers, taste authentic products, and participate in live demonstrations of crafts and traditional gastronomy.
The event aims to create an interactive, authentic, and memorable experience, highlighting the diversity of local products.
As part of the exhibition, the Chamber of Commerce will launch, for the first time, a competition for exhibitors titled "The most creative presentation of the local product." This will feature a thematic parade on the symbolic podium called "Native Carpet," where each company will have three minutes to present its product through storytelling, representative music, and a live presentation by company representatives. Attractive prizes will be awarded, and the competition will be judged by experts in branding, communication, and design, as well as members of the general public.
CCI President Sergiu Harea stated that the event will provide a platform for promoting local products and a space for direct connections between entrepreneurs, consumers, economic partners, public authorities, and members of the diaspora.
"The event promises to be a success. Over 90% of the exhibitor spaces were already reserved, indicating an increased interest from the local business community. I cordially invite the public to visit this exhibition, support local producers, and rediscover Moldova through authentic products, tastes, and stories", declared Sergiu Harea.
The national exhibition "Local product" is more than just a commercial event; it is an initiative aimed at strengthening the national economy, encouraging domestic consumption, and reconnecting with local cultural values. The event also seeks to attract the interest of the diaspora and investors in the local entrepreneurial potential.
