ANOFM aids Transnistria's employment integration

An increasing number of residents from the Transnistrian region are accessing employment services through the National Employment Agency (ANOFM).

Over the past four and a half years, more than 510 people from the Transnistrian region have been placed in jobs. These individuals participated in qualification, retraining, and professional development courses.

Official data shows that from January 1, 2021, to June 30, 2025, the regional employment offices provided services to over a thousand people residing in the Transnistrian region who were seeking employment.

Citizens registered as unemployed received informational services, job placement, and career guidance. This included 221 people in the first half of this year, 373 in 2024, and 277 in 2023.

"There is a steady increase in the number of citizens from the region who are accessing employment services, support for professional mobility, and unemployment insurance. This gradual integration into the economic and social system of the Republic of Moldova is a positive development," the Chisinau government stated.

The Bureau for Reintegration Policies continues to encourage residents from the Transnistrian region to contact the territorial offices of ANOFM for help with employment-related issues.
