The document is aimed at expanding training programs for Moldovan officials in the fields of European law, public administration, and good governance.

"Several generations of Moldovan public officials involved in the European integration process have already benefited from training provided by this institution," stated Cristina Gherasimov. "The signed agreement will allow us to expand our partnership at an institutional level and continue the professional development of officials at the central and local levels, as well as experts, through specialized programs, mentorship, and the exchange of best practices."

During her visit to Riga, the Vice Prime Minister also held a meeting with representatives of Latvian civil society. The discussions focused on combating disinformation and promoting the image of the Republic of Moldova in European Union member states, according to a press release from the government in Chișinău.
