PE FAȚĂ show back on Moldova 1 TV; IGP chief is the guest of the first edition

The show "Pe Față" is back with a new season. In today's program, the guest is Viorel Cernăuțeanu, the head of the General Inspectorate of Police (IGP). The discussion, hosted by Lucia Vieru, will focus on key topics such as electoral corruption, disinformation, and measures to combat these issues. Four other journalists from various media institutions will join the conversation.

"Last fall, we viewed the situation as a much more sophisticated and complicated form of electoral corruption compared to previous periods. However, looking at it now, what seemed complex back then appears relatively simple, especially considering the current developments where the systems have become even more sophisticated. Previously, the process involved simple transfers through PSB to an individual's open account, which could easily be traced and addressed through specific investigative measures. Today, the process is much more elaborate and involves several stages," stated Cernăuțeanu, discussing the issue of electoral corruption.

The show will be aired today at 9:30 PM, immediately following Mesager, on TV and online via the Facebook and YouTube pages of Moldova 1 TV and Teleradio-Moldova.
