Video // Irina Vlah and Victoria Furtună, on the same plane: "Did you meet with Kirienko?"

Former Bashkan Irina Vlah, leader of the "Heart of Moldova" Party, and Victoria Furtună, president of the "Moldova Mare" Party, were captured on Thursday evening, August 14, by a reporter from Moldova 1 at the "Eugen Doga" International Airport in Chisinau. They were on the same plane that arrived from Istanbul.
Irina Vlah, whose party is participating in the parliamentary elections on September 28 as part of the Electoral Bloc "Patriots of Socialists, Communists, Heart and Future of Moldova," did not want to talk. In contrast, Victoria Furtună, a close friend of the convicted Ilan Shor, readily answered questions from journalists.
When asked if she was returning from Moscow and whether she had met with Sergei Kirienko, the first deputy head of Vladimir Putin's presidential administration and Russia's "curator" for the Republic of Moldova, Irina Vlah responded, "I don't know who you're talking about."
She then referenced her "personal life" to evade further questions.
Victoria Furtună told journalists that she “didn’t see” Irina Vlah, even though they were on the same plane, and stated that she was not in Moscow, but in Istanbul.
Asked to comment on the fact that she is supported by the Kremlin, Furtună smiled: “I am supported by everyone”.
According to sources from Teleradio-Moldova, Igor Dodon and Vasile Tarlev, leaders of the Electoral Bloc "Patriotic of Socialists, Communists, Heart, and Future of Moldova," are expected to return from Moscow on Friday, August 15.
Security policy experts have noted that these two parties are part of the Russian Federation's strategy used to counter the European integration efforts of the Republic of Moldova.
