Serious accident in Orhei: man dies, minor hospitalized; both were in a motor cultivator
A 44-year-old man died, and a 13-year-old boy was injured on Thursday evening following a road accident on the R6 route near the village of Fedoreuca, Orhei district. The two were in a motor cultivator when they were struck by a minibus, according to the Police of the Republic of Moldova.
According to law enforcement, the accident occurred around 9:50 p.m. when the tractor was making a left turn. As a result of the collision, the tractor driver died at the scene, while a minor in the trailer was transported to the hospital for medical care.
The 37-year-old driver of the minibus underwent an alcohol test, which had negative results. Police are investigating the circumstances of the accident.
