Sângerei: Two police officers injured in Copăceni road accident
A road accident involving a police crew occurred on Saturday at approximately 5:00 p.m. on the R-6 Chisinau - Orhei - Balti road, near the village of Copăceni in the Sângerei district.
According to preliminary information, a car driven by a 32-year-old woman was travelling the wrong way when it collided head-on with a police car that was following its route legally.
As a result of the collision, two police officers—a 20-year-old man and a 22-year-old woman—were taken to the hospital for medical treatment.
The driver was given a breathalyzer test, and the result was negative.
The criminal investigation task force is currently investigating the incident to determine all the circumstances surrounding the accident, according to Lilia Harea, press officer of the Sângerei Police Station.
