Moldova e-Admitere: New digital platform to simplify university applications"
Moldova's university admission process is becoming simpler and more secure thanks to a new digital platform, "e-Admitere," launched in 2024.
The government in Chisinau approved the project on Wednesday, 17 September, to establish the "e-Admitere" information system for higher education.
Government spokesperson Daniel Vodă said the application would allow candidates to create, manage and modify their application files online, and to receive electronic notifications with an e-signature.
The new system is set to be operational from 1 January 2026 and is expected to streamline the admission process and data management at universities.
Mr Vodă also said that this year alone, 34,000 files were submitted through the platform by 26,000 candidates for studies at universities in the country.
