Chișinău: 'Child in Palm' sculpture unveiled in Ciocana district
A sculpture depicting a child held in the palm of a hand, created by German artist Marc Schmitz, has been unveiled on Mircea cel Bătrân Boulevard in the Ciocana district of Chișinău.
The artwork was commissioned by the National Union of Bailiffs, with support from the Chișinău City Hall.
Speaking at the unveiling, the Ciocana District Mayor’s Office said the piece "sends a powerful message about the responsibility of parents to their children and the support society must offer them."
