ELECTIONS 2025 // Government urges: 'Every vote shapes a free, dignified, prosperous future'

Deputy prime ministers, ministers, and other officials from the new government, who are not on the electoral lists, sent mobilization messages on Friday, September 26, in preparation for the parliamentary elections on Sunday. They urged voters to participate in the polls and support Moldova's continued path towards Europe.

The officials emphasised the significance of the parliamentary elections for the country's future, underscoring the decisive role of the vote in ensuring the development, security, and stability of the state. At the same time, each minister made personalized appeals for the sectors they represent, emphasizing the common responsibility for consolidating democracy and modernizing the Republic of Moldova.

Health

The Minister of Health, Ala Nemerenco, addressed all medical workers – from doctors to auxiliary personnel – with the message to participate in Sunday’s elections and support the European path of the Republic of Moldova.

I would like to make an address, in particular, to medical workers, whether they work in a small rural center or in a large, tertiary hospital, here in Chisinau. I call on you to choose the path that, finally, the Republic of Moldova was brought on – a pro-European path”.

Ala Nemerenco emphasized that, in the last four years, the healthcare system in the Republic of Moldova has benefited from unprecedented investments, worth over four billion lei, attracted with the support of the European Union and other partner states.

According to the minister, these resources have brought visible changes, felt by many patients, either through access to reimbursed medicines or through expensive medical services provided free of charge. She pointed out that all these transformations were possible thanks to the country's European path.

"The population, regardless of ethnicity, needs a rigorous, qualitative medical system, to which they have full and free access through the medical insurance system. Therefore, I call on all citizens, first of all, to go out to vote, and, secondly, to vote for the continuation of the European path that made these changes possible", declared Ala Nemerenco.
