Power outages reported again in Transnistrian region and the Security Zone

Several households in the village of Varnița, located in the Security Zone, are currently without electricity. Over the next two days, several streets in the town will also experience power outages due to the gas conservation measures implemented on October 2 in the Transnistrian region, from which the town receives its electricity. This information was shared on the Security Zone platform on Telegram.
According to published information, the disconnections will take place on October 8 and 9, between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
On Wednesday, power will be cut off on Tatarbunar Streets (Nb. 1–9, 2–20), Komsomol Streets (No. 3–7, 4) and Tchaikovsky Streets (No. 21–23).
On Thursday, power will be cut off on Transnistreana Streets (No. 1–9, 2–10) and Tchaikovsky Streets (No. 11–19).
If the energy situation on the left bank of the Nistru does not stabilize, the outages could continue in the coming days, the cited source says.
We remind you that in the Transnistrian region, since October 2, a “gas saving regime” was established, which involves the distribution of gas only to the population and for the production of electricity for household use. According to the so-called authorities in Tiraspol, the restrictions will be in effect for a period of up to ten days.
