The mandate of a deputy is incompatible with most paid positions, including those of a member of the Government and a local elected official, except for teaching and scientific activities conducted outside the Parliament's schedule. Persons who hold incompatible positions and have access to Parliament have 30 days from the date of validation of the mandate to resign from the incompatible position.

The acting Prime Minister, Dorin Recean, announced that he will not be in the new Government and that he is also giving up his mandate as a deputy.

Ion Ceban also announced that he is giving up his mandate as a deputy to retain his position as general mayor of Chisinau.

After the decision to validate the elections was made, Igor Grosu, the President of the 11th legislature, declared that "this step means the beginning of a new critical stage - the convening by the President of the country of the session to establish the new Parliament.

Grosu sent messages of gratitude to his colleagues in the Legislature "for all the work and all the projects that we have voted for in these four years". "I sincerely thank all citizens for the trust they have placed in us. A lot of work and significant challenges await us, but we also have a great determination that in 2028 the Republic of Moldova will be a member of the European Union", added the PAS leader.
