Moldova-Romania troops start 'Joint Combined Training-2025'

Moldovan and Romanian troops are due to take part in the 'Joint Combined Exchange Training-2025' exercise, which is scheduled to take place at the National Army's training centres between 20 and 31 October.
According to the Ministry of Defence, the scenario involves troops carrying out live-fire drills with various types of infantry weapons, conducting activities to build physical endurance and command skills, along with military-medical training and other specific drills.
Additionally, officers, NCOs (non-commissioned officers), and soldiers will perform static-line and freefall parachute jumps using MC-6/T11R, Safire, and Sigma parachute systems.
The 'Joint Combined Exchange Training-2025' exercise is conducted in accordance with the National Army's training plan for 2025. The participation of Romanian troops is part of a traditional co-operation that has been in place for this exercise since 2009.
A public notice advises that military equipment may be seen on the roads as it is moved from military units to the National Army training centres to take part in the drills.
