PAS PM candidate Alexandru Munteanu on future government: “There will be changes”
Some members of the government led by Dorin Recean will also be part of the future Cabinet of Ministers. Alexandru Munteanu, the candidate for Prime Minister from the Action and Solidarity Party (PAS), announced that there will be changes, and everything will be clarified by the end of this week.
Alexandru Munteanu claims that the main criteria on which he will choose the members of his Cabinet will be “professionalism” and “reputation”, especially counting on their non-involvement in acts of corruption.
The PAS candidate for prime minister admitted that he has already met with several ministers from the New Government, but refused to answer directly the question of whether Vladimir Bolea, Mihai Popșoi, Cristina Gherasimov and Dan Perciun will be in the future Executive.
“I do not want to confirm or deny these speculations. I have met with all the ministers listed. (...) It will be clear during this week. There will be changes, but let's wait for the moment when we make the announcement”, declared Alexandru Munteanu on the evening of October 20, on a TV8 show.
