Minister announces she will not join Munteanu Government

The acting Minister of Health, Ala Nemerenco, announced on Tuesday, October 21, on her Facebook page that she will not be part of the future government.
“I am not on the list of the new Government”, the acting minister wrote on the social network.
Ala Nemerenco also published a photo taken on November 8, 2019, where she is seen with President Maia Sandu, who was then Prime Minister, and with other colleagues from the former Government.
Ala Nemerenco was appointed Minister of Health in 2019, in the Government led by Maia Sandu, and between December 2020 and August 2021 she was a presidential advisor in healthcare.
She returned to the Government, as Minister of Health, on August 6, 2021, when she took office in the Government led by Natalia Gavrilița.
On October 20, Ala Nemerenco presented her assessment of her activity at the head of the ministry, noting that it was a "difficult, but full of successes" mandate.
We note that the list of the future Government could be ready by the end of this week, declared, on the evening of October 20, the candidate of the Action and Solidarity Party (PAS) for the position of Prime Minister, Alexandru Munteanu.
The future potential Prime Minister announced that he had already met with several ministers from the New Government, but refused to answer directly the question of whether Vladimir Bolea, Mihai Popșoi, Cristina Gherasimov and Dan Perciun will be in the future Executive.
"I do not want to confirm or deny these rumors, everything is being discussed. I have met with all the ministers listed. (...) I think that, during this week, we will have some clarity. There will be changes, but let's wait for the moment when we are ready to make certain announcements. Consultations with the parliamentary factions await us", declared Alexandru Munteanu, on a TV show.
The acting Deputy Prime Minister, Vladimir Bolea, announced on Moldova 1 TV that he will be part of the new Government, "most likely", and that it will become functional by the end of October.
