MFA: A new successful Gaza evacuation with international support
Four family members of Moldovan citizens evacuated from the Gaza Strip have safely arrived in the country, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs announces. The evacuation was possible thanks to the diplomatic efforts of the MFA team and the Embassies of the Republic of Moldova in Tel Aviv and Ankara, in cooperation with external partners.
According to the ministry, the operation was carried out in close coordination with the authorities of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the State of Israel and with the support of international humanitarian organizations.
The MFA expressed its gratitude to the diplomats involved, representatives of the Red Cross, colleagues from the General Inspectorate of the Border Police, international partners and all authorities who contributed to the smooth conduct of this complex humanitarian mission.
We recall that evacuation operations of Moldovan citizens from the Gaza Strip were previously performed in November 2023.
