Alexandru Munteanu discusses with entrepreneurs the economic priorities of the future Government
Alexandru Munteanu, the Action and Solidarity Party (PAS) candidate for prime minister, announces the launch of public consultations, with the first discussions being held with representatives of the business environment.
*"We have started public consultations and had the first discussion with about 100 representatives of the business environment in the Republic of Moldova. The purpose of these discussions is to understand what the challenges and priorities are in the economic field so that the future government program is built on real solutions and in partnership with the private sector," Alexandru Munteanu wrote on his Facebook account.
The candidate designated for the position of prime minister discussed "access to European funds and support for innovations, the continuation of the digitalization of public services, the labor market and access to capital, the adaptation and modernisation of agriculture and many other current topics".
Alexandru Munteanu thanks the participants *"for their openness and concrete proposals".
*"These consultations will continue so that the government plan reflects the expectations of the entire society," mentions the candidate of the parliamentary majority for the position of prime minister.
President Maia Sandu designated economist Alexandru Munteanu as a candidate for prime minister on Friday, October 24. The decree was signed shortly after the head of state's consultations with the parliamentary faction of the Action and Solidarity Party.
