Law enforcement conducts large-scale searches over suspected mercenary activity
Several addresses in the Republic of Moldova are being searched this morning, October 29, according to the General Inspectorate of Police (IGP).
According to information from the institution, the operations are being conducted by employees of the National Investigation Inspectorate (INI) in collaboration with prosecutors from the Prosecutor's Office for Combating Organized Crime and Special Cases (PCCOCS). They are also receiving assistance from police officers from the "Fulger" Special Purpose Brigade.
These operations are occurring simultaneously across the country as part of a criminal case initiated for mercenary activity.
Representatives of the IGP have not yet provided specific details about the individuals involved, stating that information will be released once the procedural actions are complete.
