“At least 100 days”: MP Dinu Plîngău remains, for now, in the PAS faction

Deputy Dinu Plîngău, who was elected to Parliament as part of the Action and Solidarity Party (PAS), will remain within the PAS parliamentary faction for at least the first 100 days of the new Legislative. He said that he plans to discuss the legal basis of his political collaboration with the Parliament Speaker, Igor Grosu, following the inauguration of the new Government.

"My colleagues asked me to stay for 100 days, because it is a hectic period, to stay so that the Government can have some time. We will work together, at least at the moment we have absolutely no divergence, no quarrel with my colleagues. Even today we had several meetings together, we worked very well together. As for the method of activity, we will discuss further, so that the PAS faction is also satisfied. I do not think that, in this country, those who know me very well have any doubt that I am not for European integration, that I will not be part of the parliamentary majority. There is an agreement concluded back in July that I respect", Dinu Plîngău said, on a show on Rlive.

The deputy claims that his current priority is supporting the establishment of parliamentary committees, and any decisions regarding his political positioning will be made later.

"A lot of legal formulas can be found for the agreement or partnership that was announced on July 1 can be continued, different formulas can be found, so that people from both parties can be reconciled", added Dinu Plîngău.

We would like to remind you that the Action and Solidarity Party has access to the new Parliament with 55 deputy mandates. Two elected from the PAS list, Dinu Plîngău and Stela Macari, representatives of the "Dignity and Truth" Platform, previously announced that they will be unaffiliated deputies, after the inauguration of the new Government.

We recall that the "Dignity and Truth" Platform, part of the "Împreuna" Bloc before the electoral campaign, entered into a political partnership with the Action and Solidarity Party in mid-July this year. According to the agreement, PAS proposed eligible candidates to the representatives of this party.
