National Roads Administration has a new interim director

The National Roads Administration (AND) has appointed Ștefan Popa as its new interim director, who previously served as the institution's executive director.
Stefan Popa was introduced to the employees of the institution today by the acting Deputy Prime Minister, Vladimir Bolea, who is also the Minister of Infrastructure and Regional Development, alongside the Head of the Public Property Agency, Roman Cojuhari.
Minister Vladimir Bolea expressed his best wishes to the new director and acknowledged the significant responsibility he has in continuing the institution's operational processes.
"With extensive experience in internal process management, I am confident that Stefan will effectively coordinate the activities and projects under the management of the National Roads Administration," said Vladimir Bolea.
Stefan Popa graduated from the Technical University of Moldova (UTM), where he studied Urban Planning and Architecture, specializing in "Railways, Roads, and Bridges." He possesses substantial experience in road infrastructure construction.
Since April 2024, Stefan Popa has served as the executive director of the National Roads Administration, where he is directly involved in overseeing daily operations, including the implementation of repair and modernization projects.
