The new Government will take the oath of office on Saturday, November 1

The new Cabinet of Ministers will take the oath of office on Saturday, November 1, at 10:00 a.m. The inauguration ceremony will be held at the Presidency.

The new Cabinet of Ministers, led by Prime Minister Alexandru Munteanu, will take the oath of office in the presence of the President of the Republic of Moldova, Maia Sandu, and the Parliament Speaker, Igor Grosu.

Following the inauguration vote, the new executive branch will officially assume its duties. The first meeting of the new government is expected to take place next week.

The Munteanu Cabinet was sworn in on Friday, October 31, one month and three days after the parliamentary elections, which resulted in a new composition of Parliament but retained the same parliamentary majority of the Action and Solidarity Party (PAS).

The Munteanu Government consists of more than half of the members of the previous administration and was confirmed by 55 deputies.

The new government will focus on economic growth and the European integration of the Republic of Moldova, with 15 sectoral priorities outlined by the designated Prime Minister, Alexandru Munteanu, from the Parliament podium before the inauguration vote.
