Second foreign visit since taking office: Prime Minister Alexandru Munteanu heads to Brussels

Prime Minister Alexandru Munteanu will go on his second official foreign visit to Brussels, Belgium, from November 17 to 18. During this visit, he is set to meet with European Union officials and will deliver a speech at the European Business Summit.

Alexandru Munteanu, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Moldova, will engage in discussions with several key European leaders, including Ursula von der Leyen, the President of the European Commission; Antonio Costa, the President of the European Council; the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy; Kaja Kallas, the Vice-President of the European Commission; and Marta Kos, the European Commissioner for Enlargement.

According to the Government, these discussions will center around the reform agenda and the necessary actions to facilitate Moldova’s progress on its European path.

Additionally, Prime Minister Munteanu will participate in the Forum on European Enlargement on November 18, under the theme "By enlarging the Union, we secure our future."

He will also deliver a speech at the European Business Summit, which is celebrating its 25th anniversary. This event will serve as a platform for dialogue to identify solutions that keep the European Union resilient, innovative, and globally competitive in today’s geopolitical landscape.

To conclude his visit to Brussels, Prime Minister Munteanu will meet with Moldovan citizens residing in Belgium.

We remind you that Prime Minister Alexandru Munteanu was in Bucharest on November 13 for his first visit since the Government's inauguration.
