New director at "Moldelectrica": "My priority is to ensure stability, transparency and performance"
Sergiu Carmanschi was appointed as the director of the State Enterprise "Moldelectrica," a position he held temporarily until recently. During an event on November 14, where he was introduced to the Board of Directors, he expressed his commitment to continuing the development of a modern, safe, and future-oriented electric power system.
Sergiu Carmanschi stated that he will assume his new position "with respect and determination" and expressed confidence in each employee's professionalism.
"My priority is to ensure stability, transparency, and performance in all our processes," the director said.
During the event, Andrei Grițco, the Secretary General of the Ministry of Energy, emphasized the importance of continuity and stability in the management of the national electricity system. He believes that the experience and professionalism of the new director will enhance "Moldelectrica's" operational capabilities and support the implementation of ongoing strategic projects.
Sergiu Carmanschi has held various positions within "Moldelectrica" since 2001, including head of department, technical director, and deputy general director. He has been acting as director since 2025, prior to winning the competition for the position in October.
The State Enterprise "Moldelectrica" is the Electricity Transmission System Operator of the Republic of Moldova. Its mission and primary activity involve ensuring the operation of the entire national electricity system, including responsibility for high-voltage physical infrastructure, dispatching, and balancing.
