Large-scale theft at Florești exchange; Unlocked safe clue

A large-scale theft occurred at a currency exchange office in Florești last night, around 3:00 AM. The alarm was raised by the private security company responsible for guarding the premises.
Upon arrival, police confirmed a significant sum of money was missing.
Initial investigations revealed that the safe was unlocked when the perpetrators entered the room, although the main entrance door had been damaged with a metal crowbar, which was recovered at the scene.
The investigative rapid response team carried out all necessary procedures, and a large portion of the money was later found on the street, contained in a sack and an envelope.
Preliminary findings suggest the involvement of two men who had accomplices in committing the crime.
According to police, the cash had been transferred from a branch in Bălți and deposited at the Florești location on Saturday, November 23.
Currently, investigative actions are underway to establish all circumstances and identify the perpetrators.
