Sparkling welcome: Moldova greets international travelers with local wine
Travelers landing at Chisinau "Eugen Doga" International Airport recently experienced a unique reception designed to showcase Moldova’s authentic heritage.
Passengers on select flights were gifted bottles of premium Moldovan sparkling wine accompanied by warm welcome messages. This initiative aims to promote the nation’s local products and travel experiences to an international audience.
A strategic holiday campaign
The campaign, titled "Produced in Moldova. For Everyone," was launched by the Invest Moldova Agency to coincide with the winter holiday season.
Incoming flights from Amsterdam, Düsseldorf, and Paris were the first to participate in this festive greeting. The project seeks to create a memorable first impression of Moldova as a hospitable and attractive destination.
Promoting national quality
According to organizers, the action strengthens the country’s image by highlighting the high quality of its local exports.
The initiative is part of a broader series of events managed by the Invest Moldova Agency in partnership with two major airlines. Officials have confirmed that similar surprises will continue for other flight routes through the end of the season.
