Bus, minibus, and freight traffic restricted on the Odessa–Reni route
On the Odessa-Reni route, there will be traffic restrictions for buses, minibuses, and all types of freight transport. This measure will take effect on February 18 at 05:00 due to adverse weather conditions.
The restriction affects the road sector from km 11+920 to km 308+000 and was implemented by the Ukrainian authorities to prevent accidents and emergencies, according to the Customs Service and Border Police.
As a result, travel to and from the following border crossing points will be suspended for the specified vehicle categories: Palanca-Maiaki-Udobnoe, Tudora-Starokazacie, Basarabeasca-Serpniovo-1, Ceadîr-Lunga-Maloiaroslaveţ-1, Săiţi-Lesnoe, Giurgiulesti-Reni, Cişmichioi-Dolinskoe, Vulcăneşti-Vinogradovka, Mirnoe-Tabaki, and Ceadîr-Lunga-Novâe Troianî.
Carriers and citizens are advised to avoid travelling to the affected areas unless absolutely necessary. It is also recommended to stay informed through official sources regarding road conditions and any additional restrictions.
Furthermore, meteorologists forecast heavy snowfall, blizzards, and ice, particularly in the southern regions of the country, where a severe weather warning is currently in effect.
This warning is valid on February 18, from 02:00 to 20:00.
