Farmers can get grants of up to €50,000 for seed initiatives

Farmers in the Republic of Moldova can receive grants of up to 50,000 euros for cooperation initiatives in seed production and valorization. The application deadline is March 16, 2026.
The support is designed for producer groups or partnerships that aim to develop joint projects throughout the entire seed sector value chain, from production and multiplication to processing and marketing.
According to the Delegation of the European Union to the Republic of Moldova, the program focuses on corn, sorghum, industrial hemp seeds, and cover crops, which are essential for enhancing agricultural productivity and protecting soil.
The initiative aims to promote cooperation among farmers, strengthen production capacities, and increase the competitiveness of the agricultural sector by collaboratively utilizing resources and infrastructure.
The program has a total budget of €250,000 and is funded by the European Union.
Within this funding call, up to five initiatives or projects will be financed, with at least two designated for associative structures of SMEs that have a profitable, commercial purpose.
