Moldova’s Public Services Agency launches new digital tools for independent entrepreneurs
The Public Services Agency (ASP) has launched three new digital services specifically designed for independent entrepreneurs and freelancers. These tools allow professionals to manage their legal status entirely online, eliminating the need for physical visits to government offices.
To access these services, entrepreneurs must possess a valid digital signature. The new features are integrated into the EVO government portal and mobile application, streamlining administrative tasks for the country's growing digital workforce.
Streamlined data management
Registered individuals can now update their information in the State Register of Legal Entities (RSUD) instantly. This includes adding new fields of activity or modifying reporting periods through a simplified digital workflow.
Automated cessation and re-registration
The protocol allows for the immediate online filing of "cessation of operations" requests, which triggers an automatic status update across all state systems. Conversely, those wishing to resume activity can use a simplified re-registration process while retaining their original identification number (IDNO).
Inter-institutional synchronization
Upon submission of a digital request, the system automatically notifies all relevant authorities. This includes the State Tax Service, the National Bureau of Statistics, and national health and social insurance agencies.
Digital certification
Entrepreneurs can now generate and download an electronic "State Register Extract" directly from their personal accounts. These documents are updated in real-time; however, previously issued extracts are rendered void upon any data modification or cessation of activity.
As of March 2, 2026, the State Register of Legal Entities recorded a total of 1,489 independent entrepreneurs actively operating within the Republic of Moldova.
