Cultural institutions can get 10 million lei
Local cultural institutions are encouraged to participate in this year's Competition for Financing Cultural Development Projects and Programs, organized by the National Office for Cultural Development. Each institution may submit only one application. The deadline for applications is June 15, 2026.
The program is designed to support initiatives that enhance cultural infrastructure at the local level.
Eligible applicants include institutions established by local public authorities at the first and second levels, such as cultural centers and public libraries.
The total budget for the competition is 2 million lei, with a maximum of 300 thousand lei available per project, which cannot exceed 90% of the project's total cost.
Applicants must contribute at least 10% of the project's total cost. Eligible expenses include costs related to cultural and educational activities, the acquisition of technical equipment, and the modernization of cultural infrastructure.
