Maia Sandu had a “productive conversation” with Recep Tayyip Erdoğan during the Antalya Diplomacy Forum

On Friday, April 17, President Maia Sandu met with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan to discuss regional security and enhancing economic cooperation between the Republic of Moldova and Turkey.
The head of state reported that the discussions centered on enhancing trade and discovering new investment opportunities between the Republic of Moldova and Turkey.
The importance of the Gagauzia region was also highlighted, with Maia Sandu describing it as a bridge between the two countries and a key factor in strengthening bilateral cooperation.
