Chisinau-born Hadera deputy mayor drives new bilateral ties
Hadera Deputy Mayor Roman Gisher has launched an official visit to Chisinau to establish new bilateral cooperation between the two municipalities. The upcoming partnerships will focus primarily on education, culture, and sports.
Gisher, who was born in Chisinau and relocated to Israel in the late 1980s, has served as deputy mayor of Hadera since 2003. He emphasized that this institutional visit aims to build strong, long-term municipal foundations.
Public accessibility remains central to his administrative strategy. By bypassing secretarial channels, Gisher directly manages resident requests via phone and WhatsApp to foster community trust.
A tech hub on the Mediterranean
Hadera is a rapidly evolving coastal city in Israel's Haifa District, currently home to approximately 100.000 residents. The municipality actively develops its high-tech sectors, industrial zones, and artificial intelligence infrastructure.
