Eurovision 2025 SF1: See which countries qualified

Fifteen countries competed on Tuesday evening in the First Semi-Final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2025.
Norway, Albania, Sweden, Iceland, the Netherlands, Poland, San Marino, Estonia, Portugal, and Ukraine qualified for the Grand Final, which will take place on Saturday, May 17, in Basel, Switzerland.
The qualified countries were announced in random order, and the scores were not made public. Slovenia, Azerbaijan, Belgium, Croatia, and Cyprus did not qualify.
The representatives of Italy and Spain – two of the 'Big Five' countries – also took to the stage during the show. Along with Switzerland, the host country, they are directly qualified for the final. The other 'Big Five' members – France, Germany, and the United Kingdom – will perform in the Second Semi-Final on May 15.
Qualification for the final was decided exclusively by televote. Although Moldova is not participating in this year's contest, Moldovan citizens can cast their votes online via the official Eurovision app. The phone or SMS voting option is not available in Moldova.
The Second Semi-Final and the Grand Final of the Eurovision 2025 contest can be watched live on the public television channel Moldova 1.
Last year's edition took place in Malmö, Sweden, and was won by Swiss artist Nemo, with the song 'The Code'. As a result, Switzerland became the host for this year's edition.
