Tax authority orders to freeze assets of Platon, Plahotniuc, and Șor affiliates
The State Tax Service has ordered the freezing of funds and resources belonging to fugitive politicians and individuals affiliated with Shor. As reported by IPN, these decisions were published in the Official Gazette on Friday, June 6.
The Director of the State Tax Service, Olga Golban, issued an order to freeze the funds and assets of fugitives Vladimir Plahotniuc and Veaceslav Platon. Additionally, assets belonging to individuals connected to Ilan Șor, namely Arina Corșicova and Dumitru Chitoraga, were also frozen.
The tax authorities have specifically frozen Veaceslav Platon's share in the share capital of SRL "Luminare" and Vladimir Plahotniuc's share in the share capital of "General Media Grup Corp."
Furthermore, Arina Corșicova's shares in the share capital of the Model Agency "Elit-Centru" and SRL "Diafan" were frozen.
The authorities also froze Dumitru Chitoraga's share in the share capital of SRL "Media Resurse" and the assets of a company located in the village of Năpădeni, Ungheni district.
Any decisions made can be appealed to the State Tax Service within 30 days of their communication.
