Fire at Ungheni District Hospital basement: 26 people evacuated
A fire broke out on the morning of July 25 at the Ungheni District Hospital. Following the incident, 26 people were evacuated, with no reported casualties.
A call to the 112 emergency service was received at 10:32 AM. The General Inspectorate for Emergencies reported that dense smoke was observed coming from the basement of the institution. Three teams from the rescue and fire brigade were dispatched to the location.
Upon arrival, firefighters discovered that the fire was in the building's basement.
The fire was successfully extinguished by 11:24 AM, and fortunately, no casualties were reported.
The cause of the fire and the specific circumstances surrounding it will be investigated by specialists.
