Moldovan oligarch Plahotniuc refuses extradition from Greece
Moldovan oligarch Vladimir Plahotniuc, detained in Greece on July 22, has refused extradition to the Republic of Moldova.
This information was communicated by the Athens Court of Appeal to the Prosecutor General's Office in Chisinau."The Athens Court of Appeal, the competent body for examining extradition proceedings, informed our country's Prosecutor General's Office that the aforementioned individual did not consent to his extradition to the Republic of Moldova," states a message from the Prosecutor General's Office.
