Champions League: Benfica, Qarabağ, Club Brugge, Copenhagen qualify for group stage

Four more teams have booked their place in the UEFA Champions League group stage, including Benfica. The Portuguese side drew 0-0 away to Fenerbahçe in Istanbul before securing a 1-0 win at home.
Benfica, nicknamed "the Eagles," had two goals ruled out by VAR in the first 23 minutes for offside and an attacking foul. Vangelis Pavlidis and Leandro Barreiro were the players who had their efforts disallowed. The match's only goal was scored in the 35th minute by Turkish player Kerem Aktürkoğlu, who was reportedly a target for Fenerbahçe during the transfer window.
Qarabağ have also qualified, returning to the Champions League group stage after an eight-year absence. The team, managed by Gurban Gurbanov, eliminated Hungarian side Ferencváros in a two-legged tie. The Azerbaijani champions won their away leg 3-1, but were defeated 3-2 in Baku.
Elsewhere, Belgian runners-up Club Brugge hammered Scotland's Glasgow Rangers 6-0 at home, following a 3-1 away win. The large scoreline was largely thanks to the visiting side playing with 10 men from the eighth minute after Maximillian Aarons was shown a straight red card.
Denmark's FC Copenhagen also progressed to the group stage. The North European side beat Swiss club FC Basel over two legs. The Danish champions drew 0-0 in the away leg before winning 2-0 at home.
