ELECTIONS 2025 // 23 competitors in September 28 elections; CEC set ballot order

The ballots for the parliamentary elections on September 28 will feature 23 electoral competitors: 15 political parties, four electoral blocs, and four independent candidates.
On Sunday, September 7, the Central Electoral Commission (CEC) announced the process for registering candidates on the ballot for the parliamentary elections scheduled for September 28.
During the same meeting, the Commission also approved the model and text of the ballot for voting by correspondence in the parliamentary elections.
The ballot will measure 14 mm in width and 595 mm in length and will feature 23 quadrilaterals. It will be printed on opaque (matte) cerulean blue paper. The names of the electoral candidates will be displayed in capital letters of uniform size and style, following the order established by the Commission.

We remind you that the CEC rejected the applications for registration to participate in the parliamentary elections on September 28 of six parties and three independent candidates: NOI Party; "Christian-Social Union of Moldova" Party; "Renaștere" Party; "For People, Nature and Animals" Party; The Professionals' Movement "Speranţa Nadezhda"; Dina Carpinschi, Natalia Clevadî, Igor Ianac and the Modern Democratic Party of Moldova.
The Central Electoral Authority received a total of 50 applications for registration in the parliamentary elections scheduled for September 28, 2025, setting a record for the Republic of Moldova. Some candidates did not submit all the required documents to the CEC, while others had their applications rejected. Additionally, two parties, the "New Historical Option" Party and the "Moldova Mare" Party, were mandated by the courts to be approved for registration to participate in the parliamentary elections.
