FILIT // Literature Train turns railway ride into cultural festival

The Literature Train, a mobile extension of FILIT Chișinău, will turn an ordinary train journey into a vibrant cultural experience, with MIMI Castle as the destination. The train will depart from Chișinău Railway Station on Friday, September 26, 2025, at 3:00 PM. During the journey, poet Ligia Keșișian will perform her poetry.

The event "Literature at the Castle" will take place at MIMI Castle, which will bring together international guests with experience in the contemporary cultural field:

The discussion, with the theme "Chișinău – the perfect meeting place between East and West", starts at 16:30 and will be moderated by writer Radu Vancu.

Participants will explore the dynamics of contemporary literature, multilingualism and the challenges of cultural management. The event will be complemented by music and gastronomy, in a concept supported by EUNIC Global and EUNIC Moldova.

At 20:00, the train will depart from Bulboaca Station to Chișinău, continuing the cultural adventure.

The events are part of the FILIT Chisinau 2025 program, which officially begins on September 25, at the Teatru Fara Nume Theater in Chisinau.
