ASP updates schedule: online services unavailable from October 20

Citizens will not be able to submit online applications for civil status services from October 20 to November 4. The Public Services Agency announced this temporary suspension in preparation for the launch of the new "Civil Status Acts" information system on November 3.

During the mentioned period, applications for civil status documents can only be submitted at the counters of the multifunctional centers of the Public Services Agency and at the Directorate for Hearing and Issuance of Civil Status Documents, on Mihai Viteazul Str.

At the same time, for two days, on October 23 and 24, no applications will be received for civil status documents issued within five days. And on October 27 and 28, only documents requested "On the day of application" and those issued within 20 or 25 working days will be available.

During the period October 29–31, the activity of all civil status subdivisions within the multifunctional centers and the Directorate for Hearing and Issuance of Civil Status Documents will be suspended.

The legislative amendments regarding civil status documents will enter into force on November 1, and with this, the Public Services Agency will switch to the new automated information system. Based on it, civil status services will be provided both over the counter and electronically.

All civil status documents currently issued by the Public Services Agency – certificates, extracts, duplicates – will have a single name: extract from the civil status document. At the citizen's request, the electronic civil status document can be printed on paper and picked up at any multifunctional center of the ASP.

Citizens abroad with an electronic signature issued by the authorities of the Republic of Moldova will be able to request civil status services online, and the electronic document will be available in their personal MCabinet.
