Car overturns in Edineț; 31-year-old driver hospitalized
A 31-year-old man was hospitalized after the car he was driving crashed violently into a tree. The accident occurred on the afternoon of October 20, in the village of Chiurt, Edineț district.
According to the General Inspectorate for Emergencies (IGSU), the driver of a BMW lost control of the vehicle, skidded off the road, and crashed into a tree.
A team of firefighters and rescuers responded to the scene and found the driver trapped inside the car. After successfully extricating him, the young man, who remained conscious, was taken by emergency medical personnel and transported to the hospital for treatment.
The police will determine the cause and circumstances of the accident. IGSU also reported that in the last 24 hours, rescuers and firefighters across the country responded to 28 emergencies.
