All safe after Moldovan minibus fire in Romania's Bacău

A minibus from the Republic of Moldova, carrying 18 passengers, caught fire while in motion. The incident took place on Sunday, November 23, in Bacău County, Romania, according to Ziarul de Bacău.

The fire occurred on the road between the localities of Huruiești and Homocea in Bacău County, as reported by the Infotrafic Center within the Romanian General Police Inspectorate (IGPR).

Crucially, all passengers managed to exit the minibus in time, without suffering any injuries.

According to the Romanian press, actions were immediately undertaken to extinguish the blaze.

Traffic was restricted on the lane heading towards Bârlad, with vehicles proceeding alternately on the adjacent lane.
